Heating Services We provide a range of central heating solutions. A carefully designed and installed system will give you years of trouble free service and won't waste heat; keeping your heating costs down. We specialise in oil, gas, LPG and solar: no two jobs are the same and we will perform an on-site survey and tailor your system to meet your individual requirements.

Installations ~ What type of system or system upgrade? Oil If you are not near a mains gas supply and can meet the regulations for an oil tank (and space for the tanker to reach you) an oil heating system maybe the solution for you. Gas If you are able to get natural mains gas, we recommend a gas central heating system. LPG If mains gas isn't available, Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) maybe your solution. This will also involve space for a tank and for the tanker, or it can be supplied through cylinders. Solar An energy efficient way of heating your home. Energy is produced from solar radiation (not direct sunlight) through panels usually installed on your roof. They can be integrated into most hot water systems. Boiler Types The cost depends on the type of boiler chosen or recommended. Your boiler should be serviced annually as this will ensure that it is working safely and efficiently. Condensing Boiler These can be more than 35% more efficient than a standard boiler and extract more heat from the flue gases. They can be heating, system or combination. Heating Boiler A traditional system that heats up a store of water before it is needed via a hot water cylinder and header tank. Best for large volumes of hot water on demand. Combination Boiler Combination boilers heat your home and hot water on demand. The advantages are that you never run out of hot water because someone else has used it and no water cylinder is needed, therefore saving valuable space. System Boiler This type of boiler includes the pump and expansion vessel which replaces the feed/expansion tank normally located in the loft. Floor standing or wall mounted? Inside or out? We can supply an extensive range of boiler models to accommodate your needs and space, that can be positioned inside or outside your home.				Maintenance & Servicing Annual Servicing An annual performance and safety check, will ensure the safe and efficient use of your boiler. We will remind you when it is due to be checked each year and give you priority if you have any problems or breakdowns during the year. Manufacturers also recommend annual servicing and it often forms part of their guarantee. From 2007 it will form part of the home buyers pack (HIP) to ensure that details of maintenance and repair work are recorded. Power Flushing to clean your system A power flushing unit is connected to the heating circuit in place of the system pump, boiler or radiator. A powerful water flow is then forced into system and the circuit is thoroughly cleansed of limescale, sludge and corrosion debris. Usually used in conjunction with a Fernox cleanser, it is an efficient and effective method of cleaning your central heating system.
